4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 clove garlic (pressed)
1 Shallot (onion) diced
2 Teaspoons balsamic vinegar
pinch of sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Drizzle over cooked or steamed asparagus. Enjoy!
