About Expedited Shipping

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

Scrapless Press offers both Overnight and 2 Day Express shipping via FedEx. Here are some important points to remember when considering expedited shipping.

Expedited shipping guarantees delivery of your package, one or two business days after the ship date, but does not affect proofing and production times. Business days are common measurements in companies with time-sensitive services. As an example, when sending a package with FedEx, a shipment dispatched on a Thursday that is to be delivered in “two business days” will arrive on the following Monday.

How much extra will it cost?
The cost is based on your shipping zip code and the number of cards you order.

Okay, I understand. How do I request expedited shipping?
In the details section of our order form, make a note that you would like expedited shipping. We’ll obtain a quote and e-mail you a separate invoice that you may pay by credit card.

I have a FedEx account, can you use my number?
Shipping charges cannot be billed to a third party.

When Will I See a Proof And How Long Will it Take?

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

For the most current production schedule, please read our Current Production Schedule.

Once we receive your order and payment, we can usually have a proof via e-mail within approximately 24 hours (M-F). If there are any changes, we will make them and repeat the proofing process.

We will have your cards in the mail 2-3 days after approval. If you have noted a special request we will notify you of any change to that timeline.

What if I don’t like how my photo looks in the design?

We’re happy to show you another proof with a new photo. Simply attach it to an e-mail to us. We will never complete your order without your written approval. If for any reason you decide you’d like to cancel your order after seeing your proof, you will receive a full refund.

How do I Send Full Size Photos or Pictures with Windows Live and MSN Hotmail

Saturday, January 19th, 2008

MSN Hotmail and Windows Live e-mail users can send full-sized photos. Click Attach, and then click Files on the menu. If you click “attach” “photos” your pictures will be reduced in size so they are at most 600 pixels wide or tall, and can be more easily viewed online, but will not print the best they can.

How Do I Order Thank You Cards?

Tuesday, January 15th, 2008

Every Scrapless Press photo card design is completely editable. This means that we can change things around in any design to accommodate a thank you message. Thank you cards may be ordered at same time as birthday party invitations, or after the party.

To order photo thank you cards, simply choose the party invitation you’d like to base it off of from the Design pull down menu of our order form. You may enter the wording you’d like to use in the special instructions area provided, and we’ll create your proof based on your details.

If you are ordering birthday party invitations and thank you cards together, make sure your quantity reflects the two sets of cards. For example, if you need 20 invitations and 20 thank you cards, adjust your quantity to 40 and make note of how you’d like us to split the order in the special instructions area. It’s a good idea to order a few extra thank you cards for friends and family that were not able to attend but may have sent a gift by mail.

Typically a different photo is used for thank you cards. Please reply to your order confirmation e-mail to let us know which photo goes with which design.

Need to Reorder Photo Cards from Scrapless Press?

Sunday, January 13th, 2008

Whether you’re ordering birth announcements, birthday party invitations, save the date cards or holiday cards we suggest you order a few extra for those who may have been left off of your list and to save as a keepsake. Also consider sending photo birthday party invitations to family and friends in other states even if you know they won’t attend just so they can see how much your little pirate, princess or fireman has grown.

Of course if you didn’t order enough the first time, you can always place a reorder. Just send us an e-mail with number of additional cards you will need. We’ll send you an invoice and get the extras in the mail to you.

How Do I Send High Resolution Photos from AOL?

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

AOL limits the size of e-mail you can send or receive to 16 megabytes (MB). This includes the message text, headers and the attachment combined. If the photos you are trying to send exceed a total of 16 MB, you will need to send the photos one at a time or in smaller groups of two or three.

There are two ways to send photos via e-mail using AOL. Attach File, or Insert Pictures.

Either method is fine, however if you choose Insert Pictures, please choose the Full quality option in the mail picture quality options window. You may refer to the links above for screen captures and more detailed help provided by America Online.
